My Personal Training Philosophy is to encourage, guide, motivate and hold my clients accountable in their decision to change their health, fitness and overall wellbeing in their lives for a lifetime.  I believe in Progressive Training (PT) and Challenging But Safe (CBS) workouts.

My training covers many aspects from proper lifting techniques, pace of the exercises performed, proper sets and reps for the individual client.

I have trained clients as young as twelve up to seniors who are in their mid-seventies.  I can also implement mental training into any training environment to overcome some barriers that have occurred. I can train post-rehab clients recovering from surgery and injury.  I also cover stretching into a program for my clients.

I am interested in helping you achieve your personal fitness goals, stay motivated and accountable towards success.  I train my clients consistently each week in a way that is challenging but safe.  I am able to create exercise programs that incorporate muscle strength, endurance, flexibility, cross-training, as well as cardio-respiratory conditioning that is based on my clients’ needs and comfort levels.

I’m available to train Monday through Friday between the times of 5:00am to 8:30pm.  I’m also available on Saturday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

If you are ready to start training for the first time or would like a more challenging exercising regimen, call Tod Esquivel at 289-1219 or email me at goldmedalcoaching@hotmail.com

Gold Medal Coaching

My name is Tod Esquivel and I am a long distance running coach. I have been a runner for over 18 years. I ran in middle school, high school, college and post collegiate years. I have run many exciting races in the past 18 yrs. I can coach any type of runner. This includes the beginning runner up to the world class Olympic runner. I have worked with young runners in the middle and high school levels, with female runners and even the masters’ runners. I coach primarily runners who are training for distances from 800 meters up to the ultra-marathons. I also coach runners in cross-country.

My coaching services include a free consultation where I get a well rounded feel for what you want to achieve with your running. That could include many goals from just learning how to incorporate running into your existing exercise habits, a time goal for an upcoming race/s, or even just to finish a race for the first time in your life.

All the runners I coach always have a different program that is tailored to their goals, time they have to train, how much they want to train, age, gender, and level. I set up a specific program for each runner that would map out each day’s workout and certain times to reach for. My training program holds runners accountable for their training through the log that I set them up with. Your training program would also include suggestions on nutrition, recovery, running shoes and apparel, sports psychology, running form, injuries, and race strategies. I would talk to my runners at least once a week via email, phone or in person to see how things are progressing.

If you are ready to start running for the first time or would like to be challenged as an existing runner, call Tod Esquivel at 289-1219 or email me at goldmedalcoaching@hotmail.com
